The panoramic view of the swimming pool

One of the most spectacular attractions of Belmonte are the pools and the great view you can enjoy from there. When the large pool was designed, the aim was to create a pool that could satisfy all our customers and that it could be uniformed to its natural environment.

The shape of the pool is sinuous and it’s surrounded by a red brick pavement creating a nice combination of colours: the blue water and the red bricks.
The pool overlooks a large valley formed by cultivated fields, woods, olive groves and hills till the horizon line where every evening you can enjoy a brilliant orange sunset. You can therefore have a swim looking at a breathtaking view on the landscape of the area among San Gimignano, Volterra and Montaione.

The colour of cultivated fields, cypress and olive trees, sunflowers and oak woods are the key elements of this land, the land which we usually see in postcards. Every night the customers of Belmonte overlook the landscape from the pool, they take photos and then they show and send us their pictures so that we can include them in the gallery of our web site. This is a picture taken by Loren, one of our best customers who has been spending their holidays in Belmonte with her family for four years. She took this photo from the terrace of her house.

Tourists also love to swim in the pool and then stop to observe the landscape lulled by the water of our nice Jacuzzi.

The Jacuzzi
 

Within the pool you will find a special round bath with jacuzzi. You can reach the whirlpool swimming from the beach type entrance or directly entering from outside through the brick steps. Within the jacuzzi area the customers can sit and chat on the edge immersed in the water. Once sat down you may decide to try the whirlpool oriented toward the back or you can also put on the whirlpool coming from the bottom of the swimming pool. The Jacuzzi has a control box located on the edge and it’s very easy to use it. The whirlpool becomes a corner of the pool where people can relax, have conversation, while enjoying a breathtaking panorama.

The beach type entrance

One of the two entrances of the large swimming pool is the beach type entrance. This kind of entrance allows you to enter gradually into the pool and reach the deeper water slowly. The beach type entrance is safe and useful because children, who also have their own small pool with a slide near the big swimming pool, can have a first approach with the deeper water and maybe learn to swim under the supervision of their parents. They can swim with them and teach or simply control their children from the deck chairs around the pool.
The large beach type entrance is also used to lie down and relax under the sunshine, pleasantly lulled by water as you were on the shoreline. Our customer Federica, for example, said that she loves to sit on the beach type entrance and read a good book dipping her legs in water, with her back on the edge of the pool.
